This month was a lazy one... apart from working like a mad-man at my normal job. Most of my side projects came to a complete halt, and we spent the large portion of the month watching movies and playing video games. It was a nice break.
But, it lead to a new side-project. I am now communicating with Nintendo to try and get licensed to become a game developer. My ne bro-in-law specializes in 3D modeling, and said he would be interested in such a project. We'll see what happens though, because we have to get the OK from Wii, and we have to pay $2,000 for the license... so right now it's JUST an idea.
Orianna is fully walking. She can even kind-of run. She is loving her new ability, and using it to her fullest.
The last of the "Big News" is that Marnee has now officially moved to Kansas. she and Dan got all of their stuff from our place and UHauled it down there. They are doing well- but with hectic schedules.
Well, that's it for the Bateses this month. Cheers,
-Rob, Tamara, & Orianna

If it all goes through, what type of game would you make?
We have 2 game ideas (ones that my business partner & I were currently creating as DVD games... but Wii has online delivery which will advertise for us and save us money overall- not to mention have richer user interaction because of the wii-motes)
The first 2 games are really simple though (so much that they could have been created for DVD players). They are mostly user-interaction games (kind of like all the who's line is it anyway games we played through high-school). They are just games to direct a party activity (for many people).
...but after that, we aren't sure- because we will want to use my bro-in-laws 3D skills more.
What about our game??? With Freaky Pete :)
Somehow I think that genre has passed.
If only we were still back in the days of Clay Fighter!
I think that's fantastic Rob. Making video games is the new dream job for a lot of kids. It used to be professional sports star, now it's video game programmer.
What part of Kansas did Marnee move to? I love to have more friends moving into my state!
They are living in Wichita (I think that's how you spell it).
The whole "Which Witch is Which?" was wasted on me in English class. Besides, it didn't even cover sand-wich, which is the best kind of wich.
