I Hereby Decree this Newsletter be carried abroad for the Inform of Allies:
July has always shown greatness everywhere that year-round school has not taken hold. Named for the emperor, it continues in a tradition of grandeur, power, and tyranny (defined in summer months as parents telling children to do chores instead of lolly-gag away their vacation... sheesh, the dictatorial power!). But, unnotably, this has nothing to do with my own July.
Tamara and I have now made our first house payment, and actually own about a doorknob's worth of the house (talk about building equity. If I ever go bankrupt, I can fall back on that doorknob, and any Disney aficionado will tell you that knobs can be quite powerful).
We also made the some-time-periodly mecca back to Rexburg for Jason's moving-to-Oregon party. Derik also paid us a visit and stayed with us for a night. So, the only one left to see is Stew and his new bride (and the rest of you will just have to darn-well wait your turn till I do ;-).
Also, in the July-esk tradition of greatness, Jason and I celebrated yet another anniversary of being.
Other than that, this month was pretty hectic. This was the month of bills and overtime. So, I didn't much besides work. I did however manage to hire my bro-in-law to mow our lawn (all in the name of helping him prepare for his mission). So, that's one less thing to worry about.
Hopefully August will bring some new-younger-and-improved tyrannical interest. Everyone loves an emperor's son... or else!
Peaches and Smiles,
-Tamara and Rob
